Green building refers to the use of environmentally responsible and resource efficient strategies when designing and constructing buildings. The goal of building green is to minimize environmental impacts while providing a healthy environment for occupants, resulting in an overall better building.

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly-efficient and cost-saving green buildings, while being a verifiable Third Party Certification System. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.
